Riyad Mahrez scored two goals as Manchester City owners came from behind to snatch League One Wycombe and reach the last 16 of the Carabao Cup.
The visitors were shocked by Brandon Hanlan, but Kevin de Bruyne equalized seven minutes later.
Mahrez caught his second side, while Phil Foden and Ferran Torres again beat veteran goalkeeper David Stockdale
Substitute Cole Palmer, 19, added a sixth with his team’s first goal.
He ran from the center line before bending a fine left-footed bullet from 20 yards.
It was a successful night around City youth, Pep Guardiola giving high debuts to high school graduates Conrad Egan-Riley, Luka Mbete, Finley Burns, Josh Wilson-Esbrand and Romeo Lavia.
Defender Wilson-Esbrand was impressive, his good handling and comeback helped Mahrez in City’s second strike.
The victory means that Guardiola’s side have not lost in the tournament since October 2016 and have reached the last 16 in the fifth consecutive season.

Manchester City opened the youth team by opening their Carabao Cup of the season against Wycombe Wanderers tonight with a 6-1 victory.
City have won the Carabao Cup for four years in a row, and face off against League One Wycombe at the Etihad tonight. Pep Guardiola has made many changes, with injury problems surrounding John Stones, Aymeric Laporte, Ilkay Gundogan and Aleks Zinchenko.
With Kyle Walker resting and Nathan Ake taking a sympathetic break, Guardiola has selected four players back at the academy with CJ Egan-Riley, Luke Mbete, Finley Burns and Josh Wilson-Esbrand all starting with Romeo Lavia.
Wycombe took the lead in the first half, but City took the lead before the break with goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden.
